Armor Of God

Sometimes, the intensity of a bad habit is a result of the feeling of doom. The thought that all is finished, often results in risky actions and costly decisions.

Feeling doomed is worse than just shame, emptiness, unhappiness and failure. It is like a late form of what is there to lose.

Sometimes, the mind must feel doomed first, to be able to do things that defy personal ethics, morality, decency and integrity.

Joy and hope are powerful weapons against feeling doomed. The knowledge that disappointment is transient, or that rejection isn’t the end, is a powerful one.

Yes, failure can be like a hard fall. Some failures are situations almost impossible to recover from. Some failures are so strange they are maddening. Some carry so much shame.

No matter how irrevocable, no failure is worth the permanence to feel doomed. Feeling of doom is a bigger problem around the world than noticed. Desperation, emptiness, helplessness, wickedness, bitterness and hopelessness are elements of doom.

Sometimes, it is possible to notice the feeling of doom of others, from afar – by their words and actions. Sometimes, also some people notice the ‘doom’ of others and use it against them.

For example, no matter the anger, there are some things that are never supposed to be said, but if the originator sees the other as doomed, anything goes.

It may also not be anger, but can apply to other situations. But some take the pain, and become so vindictive.

Feeling of doom is as if there’s no other destination. It is sometimes to do things – against anyone or anything – just because of life fatigue.

However, for genuine Christians, there’s a Scripture that addresses this feeling of doom. [John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.]

Impending destruction could be synonymous with the feeling of doom. But Jesus Christ brought life, abundantly, to all.

Yes, the troubles of this world can be overwhelming and complicated, but the mind must be safeguarded, in JESUS, from the feeling of doom.

Some excess addictions are for feeling of doom. Some illegal activities are sometimes for those feelings. The feelings can be powerful to overcome some, or shut some down.

The great thing about a combination of hopes, on Christ, ensures a sound mind against doom. [John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.] [Matthew 11:28, Come unto ME, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.] [Matthew 11:29, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.] [Matthew 11:30, For MY yoke [is] easy, and MY burden is light.] [1 Peter 5:7, Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.] [2 Timothy 1:7, For GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.]

Finding rest, not doom; life abundantly, not destruction is what Christ offers.

Some people are on some worthless causes, revealing the doom they feel.

But they can never admit. Like some who are wicked but would never say why. Yes, tendency for wickedness is always there, but some prepare it, some do impulsively, but there is rarely a confession of reason, sometimes.

Taking pain, without wishing or returning wickedness is meekness. Meekness is an advanced stage of goodness, and can be useful to fight doom, internally.

The heart wants to envy. But an individual must do a personal mind control, in Christ, against it. The mind wants to hate. The mind wants malice. The mind wants wickedness. The mind doesn’t want to sometimes wish well. The mind wants to be pleasured with the failure of others. The mind wants to ridicule others. The mind wants to sabotage, or be a part of it. The mind wants to deceive.

There are endless lists of directions that the mind prepares for or presents at any moment, and sometimes they carry the day when the mind feels doomed.

Sound mind is a bulwark against feeling of doom, and it sometimes takes confessions, renewing of the mind, reversal of thoughts and thinking of pure things to maintain it.

Another advantage of Christianity is miracle of the Lord’s mercy even when all hope is lost. Lots of times, people do management of doom, and just forget that the Power of GOD can truly save. [Acts 3:2, And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;] [Acts 3:4, And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.] [Acts 3:5, And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.] [Acts 3:6, Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.]
