Bible quote

Maybe in the design of this world, part of the plan was to hope beyond this world. The number of wants and needs everyone often has, but can’t seem to be instantly or completely met, shutters hopes and stymies happiness.

Depending on the situation, the effects of failure, disappointment, rejection, delays, etc. are massive snags.

Maybe in some of those moments when the world seemed to have failed an individual and things seemed to have fallen apart, the only place to hope – to stay OK – is beyond this world.

There’s a possibility that some of the Words of Christ to come Unto Him, Abide in Him, or Words by another to Cast all cares on Him, could also mean to hope beyond this world.

Having every hope in a world where everyone’s control is limited is a kind of recklessness. It links with sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these.

It also links with unhappiness, discomfort, desperation, stagnation, etc.

There’s supposed to be prominent recognition of individual or group limitations in thoughts, actions, hopes and behavior, but everyone seems to forget or get carried away.

The good times aren’t an excuse to forget. Everything in this world mattering to someone is almost the same as those that everything that matters to them, in terms of time, is the things of the present.

This world is too temporal for anyone to think it’s everything. This is what devout Christians know that makes them different from everyone. They know the physical passes away and they remember that something beyond this world is ahead. [1 John 2:17, And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of GOD abideth forever.] [Acts 7:55, But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into Heaven, and saw the Glory of GOD, and JESUS standing on the right hand of GOD] [Acts 7:56, And said, Behold, I see the Heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the Right Hand of GOD.]

Devout Christians are expected to lay their treasures in Heaven.

[Matthew 6:20, But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:]

One way is to give to the poor. [Matthew 19:21, Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come follow Me.]

There is also the Crown of Life for those absolutely faithful to Christ.

[Revelation 2:10, Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a Crown of Life.]

Yes, it is sometimes tough to hope. It is sometimes difficult to have less, but to see others thriving in a world where everyone is easily judged and stereotyped. It is sometimes normal to be temporarily worried, anxious and troubled when things seem askew. [Luke 10:41, And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:]

The journey of life often looks biased. There are some who in their desperation, found a way to gain the world and win at life, but at the expense of something else.

There are many who hate their lives. Some try to harm themselves indirectly. Some have lost hope because career failed, or health, or relationship, or family, or wealth, or love, or something dear to them.

But nothing is worth it enough to forget there’s something else ahead, outside this world of troubles. People are more privileged than others, but that a privileged or favor belongs to another should never be a reason to pack, or hate the LORD.

Yes, some are at a disadvantaged. Some people have been treated badly and wickedly. Some have met hate without doing anything. Some, struggling, have lost their possessions to circumstances. But hope beyond this world can help the turbulence the mind brings when things go wrong.

Just as the hope is sought, it is important to be bear goodness, kindness and compassion. [Luke 10:33, But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him]

It helps to have the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. [Job 19:25, For I know [that] my Redeemer liveth, and [that] He shall stand at the latter [day] upon the arth:] [Luke 10:27, And He answering said, Thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.]
