ANRP Commend the People of Bauchi State for Peaceful Conduct of 2019 Election in the State

The Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party, Bauchi State Chapter, under the leadership of Muhammad Yahaya Abubakar Misau wishes to extend her Heartfelt joy and appreciation to the people of the state for ensuring the peaceful conduct of the election.

ANRP will also seized this opportunity to specifically thank the good people of Bauchi state for the support they have given to the party in the concluded 2019 presidential election. It is with the support of the people that the ANRP presidential candidate, Tope Fasua was able to clinch up the 11th place among other 73 candidates at the state level. This shows that the people have trust in us and have firm believe in our ethos.

On the gubernatorial election, credit must be given to the candidates of the two major political parties for adhering to the peaceful conduct of the election especially the incumbent governor, Barr. MA Abubakar who stated and prove to us that his ambition is not worse the blood of any Bauchi citizen.

Although there seems to be a dismay on the outcome of the election by the national party, the APC, which shows that the election might have to be resolved at the tribunal in the long run. However, we will still call on the governor elect, Sen. Bala Muhammad to ensure Justice and harmony within the people. Some might haven’t support your candidature for one reason or the other but that is simply democracy and exactly how it should be. Now that you have taken the lead, know that you are expected to lead all Bauchi state citizens not just the PDP or your supporters.

The party have also specially appreciate the effort of Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC Bauchi State leadership, the Police and INEC who worked so hard and sacrificed so much just to ensure that the voice of the messes have been heard and ensured. This shows that Bauchi State people are peace loving and were matured men when it comes to deciding their leaders which they demonstrate through their votes rather than violence as it’s been done in some states across the country.

The peaceful outcome of the 2019 election in the state also underscore that it’s possible that Bauchi State can be great if we can all work towards building a just and democratic governance for the people. Let’s continue to recommit ourselves to the ideals of Justice, peace and unity.
