With current mess Nigeria has been plunged into, the dilapidated infrastructures, the shambolic state of the nation’s economy which represents the worst in the nation’s contemporary history, created by the inability to chart a clear-cut economic policy, worsened by abuse of regulations, and flagrant violation of constitutional provisions and the corrupt activities of rent-seeking officials and politicians in which they have found more subtle ways to defraud the Treasury with continued corrosive effects on politics and economic management causing our public sector to remains overstaffed, highly bureaucratic, and largely ineffective and One of the world’s least efficient property registration systems weakens property rights.

As the old and recycled hand failed us, who then is our hope- who should we bring in to quench the thirsty of the country as it need serious re-engineering and re-making to save it from the deteriorating state that sees Nigeria at the bottom of every available indexes of progress all over the world, to also save it from fangs of hawks and vampires masquerading as statesmen? Many believe the answer ‘Youtha’ are the answer! So I asked which youth?

The youth who have nowadays been corrupted deliberately by the ruling elite in order not to become assertive and independent minded thus, stopping any alteration in the sociopolitical order currently existing; knowing fully well they (youths) are agents of change everywhere. Examples abound?

The political elite and rulers have deliberately skewed Nigerian politics to serve only their whimsical caprices to the detriments of women and the youth who are relegated to the background to become mere choristers than active participants.
take a look at NANS, SUG, NYCN etc, see how they are being run!

Unless we break free from the elitist manipulations and emasculation, Nigerian youth are forever doomed, and will remain what we are: puppets. Why cant we have our own political party to partake and contribute in the political process? Perhaps, the highly monetized politics here is responsible which inexorably militate against women and youth participation.
To every discernible mind, Youth are the pivotal principle matter as far politics concern but we intentionally pushed ourselves to background zero while creating artificial disabilities to ourselves!

Its high time for us to stand up, its time to stop the infinite sequence of old order n recycled hands! We are far better than those old cargoes! We should and must all be rigid, robust, stout and stalwart patriotic, let’s us be known for our down to earthiness, frankness and irrevocability both in electric and printed media in which we shall remain non apologetic or unequivocal! Then they will fathom that Nigeria is ours and we are very much entitled to dispassionately ventilate and articulate our opinions on what make it better..
