Nigerians may be clamoring for change due to the inability of the present government to effectively power the nation in all spheres -provision of jobs, access to good roads, quality and sustainable electricity power supply, economic stability, education system advancement, security as regards to the insurgency in the country etc. However, Buhari will never become the President of Nigeria, not while the Igbos still exist and not while Christianity still remain powerful in the minds of almost all Nigerians.

Buhari condemned his political ambition and sealed its fate when he said in 2011, that he does not need the vote of the Igbos in order to win the election. Igbos are God’s own people and for Buhari to commonize them after the things he did to them as military head of state, he will never taste what its like to sit in that Presidential seat…this is fact.

Keeping that aside, about 16 hours ago, Buhari obliged a foreign journalist from Aljazeera, an interview, to speak on the recently postponed Presidential election and other delicate issues. In that interview, it is clear that if Buhari is permitted to operate the nation in the capacity of a President, he will fail because the truth is, he has no plan.
Most Nigerians have been asked not to bring religion and ethnicity into this year’s election but Buhari’s fanatism is something that cannot die, its part of his buildup, that’s who he is and that cannot change.

As I write this piece, most people including Buhari, are yet to give a proper account of the past as it relates to thd Igbos and the role he played. He has not apologized to Ndigbo for his many wrongs and until he does that, nothing will ever get to him as long as Ndigbo lives.

For the conventional change that is expected, to come, there must be an end to the continued recycling of old Leaders. Buhari belongs to the old history books and as such, must remain there and be part of the observers.
