Christianity & Daddy Freeze: Pain, Panic, Fear, Melancholy & Tough Troubles -By Nneka Okumazie

In the moment before the worst, hope alone matters most. Not just for the situation, but against panic, strong enough to stoke something else.

Life is fragile. Sometimes things happen so fast, so unexpectedly, results are uncertain.

This knowledge makes it necessary to have a couple of things to say, or hope to behold, when tough troubles rage.

Sometimes mistakes are made. Sometimes, something obvious all along but benign and ignored wakes up – to cause trouble.

The exact source may be known, or unknown. But there are several strange situations, where the only question is, where could this be coming from?

Yes, it is not great to be too conspiratorial, because conspiracies are advanced assumptions. Assumptions are often wrong, so are conspiracies.

But how does one survive in an uncertain world, where everything can seem normal for some, but tragedy can hit others?

Science barely has answers for heavy panic, tough troubles, wickedness, emptiness, bitterness, or some of the things that can directly or indirectly contribute to several lost situations.

But where can hope be found? [Daniel 3:17, If it be [so], our GOD whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king.] [Daniel 3:18, But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.]

Genuine followers of GOD are meant to worship the LORD, Hope on Him, wait for Him, trust in Him and thank Him. Not the other way around. Service is to the Creator – as all have let Him down.

[Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of GOD;]

The world is what it is. But coming to JESUS is the priceless Hope to navigate a broken world. There is hope for the moment. There is also hope for afterlife. [Daniel 12:3, And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.] [Matthew 13:43, Then shall the Righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.]

Many ridicule Heaven, but for genuine Christians, the reality of it for them, is gigantic hope, therapeutic enough to navigate life.

There is hope for rescue in a bad situation. There is hope for afterlife. Both apply during tough troubles.

Some people cannot just hope, yet they hate Christianity. Some can’t be happy, yet they’d say why they think the hope of others is null.

Several Scriptural stories are a delight – for love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

They provide examples of possibilities and lessons of life. The Scriptures solves most of the problems that science and technology are unlikely to solve.

Others can choose to ridicule the Christian Faith, but they should come up with their own solutions to adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings.

Many of these problems have made the world a gross place: problems easily solved in the Salvation of Christ. But some would not heed.

Those that have been on the receiving end of some of those problems often go to digital to complain, or use addictions to get by, but they never want the Fruit of the Spirit, or the Spirit of Truth, for all.

The limitations of time, space, memory, mind, etc. for humans should be proof of known unknowns and unknown unknowns – for humility – towards Faith in GOD.

Genuine Christians have a special advantage when in trouble. The prayer is LORD, please have mercy on me. It may also be, O my GOD, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Some, who have never failed in certain ways, often laugh at the failure of others, or dismiss it as incompetence. But life is so multidimensional, and unpredictable.

No one can exactly say how they would react given several kinds of known and unknown situations.

But many keep their pride high, bashing others – thinking they can do no wrong. But so many things are hidden. What is seen is what is known. What is not can be said to not exist – but does.

The Christian Faith is massive on empathy, humility, drawing near to GOD, casting all cares on Christ, and seeking The Comforter. JESUS Christ is Hope.

[Matthew 8:2-3, And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, LORD, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And JESUS put forth [His] hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.]
