The word mind frame is used for children to refer to their collective orientation and thoughts about life. Like clay in the hands of a potter undergoing molding and modeling into a treasure, so is the child in the hands of the guardian. The use of the word frame, denotes that the mind is not cast as it is likely obtainable in adults. The child grows up with a close intimate attachment to the mother, making her its first social partner from birth. The mother, who spends most time with the baby, learns to communicate effectively with the baby before other members of the family or household will learn to do same. The baby begins the framing of mood from communication with the mother, such that, much of what the mother does to the baby reflects in the baby’s mood. If the mother plays and laughs and smiles and dance more often around the child, the child quickly develops smiling and laughter mood when other persons come around the child.

A frame is set for the child which impacts on the child’s mind, starting from the relationship with the family and household. From the early childhood, the immediate environment in terms of house setting and the nature of activities and happenings around the environment, spells out learnable traits as the child keenly observes. The evolution of speech cords and interaction skills are built on the frame of what he/she learns from the observation stage which starts from age zero to two.

As the child grows from age 2-8years, shaping of the mind frame is sustained by the daily experiences and the activities of the child’s socialization. The uses of caution, restrain, ban, punishment to ward the child off activities that are not acceptable formulate the knowledge of unwanted attitudes and engagements. The use of praise, petting, approval, gift and appreciation over an action of the child, boost the confidence in the matter of concern. The child is encouraged to keep the activity and sustain its temple. This is how we build the reasoning, disposition, attitude and potential IQ of a growing child. The teenage age period is the period of conflict for most young adults since, they are at the threshold of converting the mind frames accumulated over time into mind set, with this they bond their personality around some ideologies.

It is important to note that though adults have mindset, they are liable to twist their mindset to meet the demands and expectations of their reality. The twist which is meant as survival instinct to scale through a particular hurdle, does not change much of their persona but, changes their personal circumstances for a while. For Instance, if an adult should discover that being rigid will make him loss clients in his work place, he might want to twist his rigidity in the office where he has no choice and revert back to his rigid personality, while at home. With this temporal adjustment, he could gain comfort changing habits for a while but, may eventually master control of ‘subdued rigidity’ at home, if he last long on the job with this ‘Retention of Character for Good’ instinct.

Mind frame is easier to build and mold than mindset. Also, mind frame is easier to loss and relinquish than mindset. These are the reasons why parents, guardian and teachers of children and teenagers should brace up to the responsibility of molding the child with passion and dedication. The child whom once was blank in thought, has enough time under the care of guardianship to observe things, learn all that the senses can perceive and build up a mind of their own, which is the inner world that shapes the outside world. This is important for the child, who is the leader of tomorrow because, ideas are first build inside before it is translated outward.
