Nigeria— Good people great Nation. A place filled with evil and darkness. A place where bribery and corruption at all stratified level of government and leadership is a norm. A geographical entity occupied by selfish and inconsiderate self-centered leaders. A place where human lives are significantly worthless; herdsmen and their elder brothers dexterity testing ground and soaked with the blood of the innocents. A place where crude oil is more valuable than human lives. A place where looters and criminals are been celebrated. A place where stupid poor people would die to protect someone responsible for them being poor. A place where everyone is religious but full of evil— ungodly.

The same crop of worn out political Juggernauts being recycled every year with the same story and results and so much more… Where is that country heading to.

Deceit, selfishness and nepotism is the tripod on which the government stands. Does it mean these people do not have conscience… Oh God where are you?
Is our sin more than other countries?

Graduates are going to Youth Service every year with no hope of getting jobs. God and chances, our security. Hunger killing citizens no longer a figurative statement. We know about crude oil swap deals; now we have rice for child swap.
Still importing toothpick at 56+ with a science/technological vision of been able to produce pencil at 2018. Bribery, sectionalism, injustices, religious fanatism, corruption and all other wickedness well nurtured here.

Nigerians— ever hopeful, courageous and hardworking citizens. Nigeria— beautiful nation blessed with human and enviable natural resources. But, an height of shame that we are cursed with leaders that cannot manage those resources and make her great. Cursed with a government without hope, direction or blueprint; unreliables’ and specialists in manipulations.

So far so good so bad so sad. So good that we are relatively peaceful, so bad that food items are extremely exorbitant and so sad that Nigerians are dying of hunger.
A-rice o compatriots is now our new national anthem. Subsidising consumption instead of production.

Change! Chain of slavery. Chanji! Chance of fighting enemies in the name of corruption. In this particular change it is a crime to cry even when you are beaten with koboko of hunger, starvation, inflation and unpaid arrears.
Be guilded!— If you talk or write about unpaid salaries, prepare to be sacked the following day. Work without pay or lose your life protesting for your right. I learnt a time is coming when DSS and Army will be arresting those who criticise Sai Baba in their mind. Nigeria— congratulation for achieving this enviable change the world is seeking for but could not find.

Obi Louis poetically analysed his own side of the story, intellectual indebtedness to a brother;

“How long would we wish to be citizens of a better land?
How long would we prefer the aroma of a foreign dish?
How long would we depend on the craftsmanship of foreigners?

We have depended on their verdict enough.
We have sought their approval enough
Their crown is not glorious than ours
Their soup is not tasteful than ours
There tongue is not more soothing than ours.

All that are global today were once local
It’s bravery that they become global

English language was once local as wazobia
But by bravery it become the world’s language
Coca-cola was once as local as kunu
But through bravery it became the world’s drink.
Football was as local as korso
But through bravery it has become the world’s sports.
WAKE UP NIGERIA!
WAKE UP NIGERIA!!”

All hope is not lost. Ours is not an incurable ailments. But not with this old, weak, worn-out and recycled incompetent hands. We are not specially cursed by divinity— far from that assumption. We are systematically cursed with power-drunk, money-wise and fame-I-want leaders. Our problem like every other nations, analysts and international organisations has always pointed to is about our style and contents of leadership.
The power to turn the tide lies with the conscious and passionate youths of Nigeria whose future our grannies are politricking with. Conscious youths in politics: the panacea to the leadership embarrassment in Nigeria.
