In 2013, the World Bank stated that poverty has considerably increased in Nigeria, giving Bureau of Statistics confirmation of 112 million Nigerians (that is about 67 percent of the entire population) living below poverty line. In the affirmative, this number has increased even more this year. What this means is that, the more the number of people living below poverty line increases, the more there are hungry and angry people in the society, and by easy translation, the more there are crime everywhere in the country.

William Penn said, “I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again”. Whatever position we find ourselves today, whether high or low, big or small or not so big, there’s a reason why we are there, to help put smile on the faces of those we are much better than. It is not a thing of the government or your leaders, it is a thing of love and kindness of the heart, sharing with those who don’t have any to share. For every man or woman born on the surface of this earth, there’s a big purpose for which he/she was born, and the implementation of our purpose defines who we are.

Juicy Jane of Cool FM, the young Nigerian lady who anchors a night radio program (The Night Cafe) that gives hope and inspiration to young people within and outside Nigeria, took the words of William Penn and transform it to practical smiles in the faces of the children at “ARK OF REFUGE ORPHANAGE, KUBWA” on Saturday, the 5th of April, 2014. The turn out of supporters, including members of OpinionNigeria, was staggering. For some, it was their first time, for many others, it was like it should never end. They lifted the kids again and again, touching and hugging them repetedly and exclaming the joy that comes from putting smile on the face of a child. [wppa type=”cover” album=”1″]Any comment[/wppa]

Juicy Jane took the bull by the horn to make a difference, if you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito. A lot of people in our world today are in real darkness, we must dare to reach out our hands into the darkness, so we can pull another hand into the light for the betterment of our world

Remember, nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little. Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something. What have you done in the last five years of your life to bring smile to the world? Your answer is the solution to the world’s question. Do something today Nigerians!
