One thing is clear, majority of PVC carrying citizens of Nigeria are well and truly ready for the elections.
It seems only the citizens know how important and crucial 2019 is.

For the jokers who see themselves as the controllers of the country’s collective destiny, think again. The citizens are upset but will not give up. No giving up on fighting the good fight.

Going forward, members of the office of the citizen of the Federal Republic should not be deterred.

Though INEC has not apologised for their incompetence and ineptitude, citizens must turn their anger into strategy. A good starting point will be to uphold all adhoc staff within your community. Encourage them, give them support any way you can. Especially the members of NYSC, the heartbreaking pictures of how some of them slept under the elements should elicit compassion.

This country will come out of her travails stronger because citizens are getting wiser by the day. Those who want to be free from the clutches of the oppressors will surely see a better day.

Citizens who travelled to fulfill their civic responsibilities, please if possible stay put. These are trying times. Be a good neighbour, be sensitive to the the next person’s fear. Host with empathy. The cost of this postponement is huge on a country that is battling economic woes. Many are the burdens of individuals, psychological, emotional, physical and financial.

Nigeria is fragile and beholden to the ego of a few. But citizens must refuse to be disenfranchised. The mandate belongs to you the citizen, it is yours to give to whomever you please. No matter the provocation and rigmarole, stay focused on the goal.

A day is coming soon, that all who fail to deliver on given responsibilities will suffer consequences. That past failures were not punished, has set precedence for continuous failure without shame or remorse. Citizens must demand better. No more excuses for mediocre performance at the expense of all.

Choose positivity. Co-create the reality that you want. Now more than ever, dare the odds. Whether you feel beloved or tolerated by Nigeria, reason in your heart that on Saturday the 23rd of February, 2019, Godwilling, you will go out and cast that ballot.
Be an ENCOURAGER.
