Bible Quotation

It is possible to question anything, but at that point, not admit known unknowns, and unknown unknowns.

It is thoughtful to ask why, critiquing and to connect some dots, but it is possible to be so wrong, really ignorant and lost.

It is possible to be outspoken against something – because of some hate, or bias, or some reason undisclosed, or unknown.

It takes a lot of deception to not admit that there are so many things beyond human understanding. There are situations that are so strange, so complicated; there is no way to explain with any subject area.

There are more things wrong with the world, done through humans, than by disease or disaster. Science and technology could ace communication, efficient processes, health, etc. But science and technology is subject to wickedness, bitterness, hate, unknown motives, deception, retaliation, greed, envy, division, unknown motives, etc.

These have been seen before, recorded for lesson. The Old Testament showed so many examples of adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like.

There’re so much of these till date, but looks different because of advances in science and technology. Christ came to fix problems with the mind and behavior not science or engineering, or psychology.

There are all kinds of medications, all kinds of therapies, all kinds of meditations and all kinds of tips, they work for some, but their failures with others are devastating.

How can a habit be used as getaway from disappointment, or rejection, or emptiness, and it becomes an addiction, and the addiction becomes adverse?

How is it that some people have weak minds – practically swinging to whatever direction seems acceptable? Or some having really mean minds, bent on wickedness, evil and destruction?

The world is flawed – short on how to handle failure. Failure of something became the psychological concavity of some, where they almost never left; but, managed with some addiction – killing the guilt that would have been useful in some other morality, or discipline.

Stories in the Old Testament were example of what people did. There were also lots of words and actions by those who were supposed to follow the LORD that were despicable.

But humans can be wrong, GOD cannot. GOD is Superior and Supreme Sovereign.

[Deuteronomy 29:29, The secret [things belong] unto the LORD our GOD: but those revealed [belong] unto us and to our children for ever, that [we] may do all the words of this law.]

The LORD chooses what to do, when, how, why, where and with whom. There is no questioning of Him. He can be merciful and can judge. He can do and undo. He can reverse and do the impossible.

But people always say GOD in the Old Testament was wicked. NO! He isn’t. He chose to judge sin, or sinners, when He wanted and how.

[Psalm 24:1, The earth [is] the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.]

The world belongs to GOD. He may seem to leave people to do what they like, it happened in the Old Testament. He may seem to not solve disasters, it happened in the Old Testament. Whatever He did or didn’t seem to do is within His Power.

Questioning GOD on choices, or power, or preference, or options, or approach, is dangerous ignorance.

How about asking why minds think the way they unpredictably think, or why behaviors can never be accurately anticipated?

How is it that simple questions among fellow humans are impossible to ask, or resolve, but GOD, a Spirit, in Heaven, is the convenient target?

Lots of people have anxiety problems. Lots of people have emptiness problem. Lots of people have intrusive thoughts or the call of the void, lots of people have addiction problems, lots of people cannot understand their own behavior, lots of spontaneous actions – or in the moment moves have ruined some, lots of people take dangerous worthless risks, lots of people are battling with stupidity, lots of people can’t help themselves, etc.

The questions about humanity that are unanswered, unknown, strange or mysterious should provide the necessary humility to approach questions about GOD. But No, pride and blindness boosts the confidence of some to say what they don’t know.

Any example can be cited in the Old Testament for critical thinking, but a genuine Christian would look at it that what should be learned from this? What is this warning? What was the result for these people, and how does it align with the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance?

Even if can’t answer, ignore. There are other things that can be clearer at the time, to go for, and if GOD chooses to reveal great, if He doesn’t great too. But GOD does not condone sin. GOD cannot lie. The Old Testament is not an excuse to sin.

The flaws of humanity may have taken over individuals or some external influence, but GOD does not make mistakes.

The directives of the LORD are voluntary. It is more like choosing to think about the things recommended in the Scriptures, choosing to behave as recommended in the Scriptures. [Colossians 2:6, As ye have therefore received Christ JESUS the LORD, [so] walk ye in Him:] [Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if any praise, think on these things.]

Sometimes, life can be so hard. It can look like prayer isn’t quick enough, or instant. But GOD wants His Children to wait on Him.

No one knows if what is called failure – physical – for some genuine Christians, is some delay to build more closeness to GOD, or learn and to get a better blessing or make the enemies fail fatally.

No one knows if what is unanswered prayer – without physical result – was already answered spiritually. [Hebrews 13:5, [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.] [Hebrews 13:6, So that we may boldly say, The LORD [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.]

So much was done in the Old Testament, abolished by Christ and His Blood in the New Testament. New Testament brought grace, redemption and the Holy Spirit.

But the Old Testament is still potent, on lesson of life – and part revelation of the LORD.

Anyone can do critical thinking against genuine Christianity or the Scriptures; it helps nothing towards a better world. Rather, it increases the chances for more bitter people, more hateful people, who rather than see the solutions of the LORD – for human flaws, would think they don’t need Salvation.

Addiction is hardly voluntary. But Salvation is voluntary. Salvation can lead to goodness, that inspires others, or lead to a sound mind, against weakness or wickedness. Salvation is hope – potent against hopelessness, emptiness. The Scriptures and the Holy Spirit are great companies – against loneliness and disappointment from others.

Some who hate Christianity have been victims of deception, or wickedness or bitterness, or hate, that makes the world strange, yet they wouldn’t think.

They would use digital to say whatever they want, but the real impact of digital will be difficult to measure because posts go out: false, or biased, or in the moment, or out of hate, bitterness, that when seen by some, would influence their actions, thoughts, behaviors, manners, etc. [1 Corinthians 15:33, Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.]
