Breaking News From Iran! (Plus Commentary) -By Joe Dauda

To cut the long story short, President Nixon recalled that interaction with his mother, came to his senses, and used his powers as US President to send arms to Israel over the protestations of globalists in his cabinet like George H.W. Bush (father of President George Bush) who was then the Director of the CIA and thus a member of the National Security Council).

At around 2:00 a.m., a loud explosion was heard in the city of Bushehr in southern Iran, and shortly afterward a 2.9-magnitude earthquake was reported in the same area.

Residents described the event as unusual: not the typical rumbling sensation of the ground, but rather “as if something heavy crashed and exploded.”

Interesting.

Is Iran Testing A Nuclear Weapon?

To be fair to the Iranians, nobody expects that they have been completely transparent about their nuclear weapons programme. No country which can acquire nuclear weapons will deny itself that rare privilege. So there has been suspicion for years that Iran already has a few bombs in a top secret location, whether directly purchased from nations like North Korea, or even a Sunni Islamic nation like Pakistan. Whether or not Iran has some of the world’s deadliest bombs, what is worth stating is that, in spite if its policy of deliberate ambiguity (neither confirming nor denying its possession of nuclear weapons) military experts and international journalists believe that Israel possesses at least 200 nuclear warheads. That is more than enough to destroy the entire Middle East several times over–not just Iran. But Israel knows the consequences of using a nuclear weapon on Iran or any of its neighbours, who are all Muslims and either Sunnis or Shias. That could trigger a world war because it will draw the entire Muslim world into an alliance (voluntarily or involuntarily) plus China and Russia as backup, with the US, Israel, and Europe as major players on the other side.

Having said that, it must be noted that if Israel is ever pushed to the wall during a military conflict, it could consider using its nuclear weapons. This nearly happened during the Yom Kippur war in 1973. Prime Minister Golda Meir actually began discussing that possibility with the Israeli military when Israel was losing the battle under the coordinated attack of five Arab armies including Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq, plus many forces from several other Arab nations. Israel was at the point of defeat and the answer was to turn everything and everyone to ashes through a nuclear strike that would have brought the Yom Kippur War to an abrupt end (ask the Japanese) or caused it to escalate into a global war. Fortunately, United States President Richard Nixon, ordered what later came to be known as the largest military weapons airlift in history to Israel. Russia was openly supplying the invading Arab armies with arms and the geopolitical equation required the US to also supply Israel. But some Anti-semites in the Nixon administration were holding him back from supporting Israel. The God of Israel had prepared for this season by ensuring that, when he was a little boy, Nixon’s mother prophetically told him that any day he had the opportunity to help the Jewish people, he was to do so without reluctance.

Who told Mama Nixon that her young lad would one day be the President of the United States and be in power while Israel was waging an existential war, second in consequence only to the war of independence itself?

By the time the Yom Kippur war ended, Israel had humbled their enemies, shocked the citizens of the Arab world, and planted the idea of possible peace with Egypt, which eventually happened in 1979. Jordan smelt the coffee too and made peace with Israel in 1994.

The tension between Israel and Iran will not end anytime soon. In fact it will go on until the Ezekiel 38 war climax.

Summary:
If Iran has any number of nuclear weapons in its possession and has tested any (these odd earthquakes suggest so) then it may prefer to lie low for now in the hopes of a less hostile US President coming to power, and a post-Netanyahu Israel, while holding tightly to what it already has. That this may be the strategy is further validated by a recent report suggesting that Iran may have capitulated to both Trump and Netanyahu. Iran recently said it was ready to reduce uranium enrichment to 3.67% provided their right to enrich uranium is recognized. This is a huge concession and too good to be true, opening the door to the easy deduction that it is a survival strategy and meant to buy time, while hoping that a Democrat succeeds Trump, and that the reign of Benjamin Netanyahu comes to an end.

Time shall tell.

By the way . . .

I just learned that the Israeli basketball team, apart from thrashing France with a 13-poimt lead, just beat Belgium in the 2025 Euro Basket tournament.
