A Fragile Playground: The Story Of Nigeria -By Ikpang Sunday
Another story in this fragile playground is the tribunal bo ju bo ju, one win the other loss and they was a conflict, because of their supporters, they case went into the elders of the community (count) and judgment is lingering to be passed while the mass get more confused…
Whether we like it or not the situation in this country is the situations of a fragile playground, where children are warn of some impediment; if they trespasses some area in the playground.
Yes, we know that the intention of the government of this country is to make sure, the life of every citizen of this country have a conspicuous life or at least a better experience, than the one we are struggling with now.
Fuel subsidy removal is good news and an upheaving to the embattlement of our economic but when we view this fact from afar concurrently it is like a millipede movement. What I want to bring to our notice today is that the oil baunkery issue is infact masterminded by some underground, stone cold elements, which are even in the affair of government; these people are marudering and carting away the chest of pleasure of interest and blocking other ways for the country to have peaceful movements.
Sometime ago some persons expose some group of people who are relating and encouraging oil bunker and there was unrest and suddenly, the uproar was stand down and was quickly swept under carpet, buy reshuffling of some personality in khaki and other arms of affairs to silent the barking dogs.
Another story in this fragile playground is the tribunal bo ju bo ju, one win the other loss and they was a conflict, because of their supporters, they case went into the elders of the community (count) and judgment is lingering to be passed while the mass get more confused. The tribunal is another fragile playground, where if caution is not observed with perfect carefulness, what seem to be as children playful laughter maybe maneuvers into a heartfelt cry and you know when an adult sit and cry in public, there is always a stand still.
The fuel price swinging like a swing is a concern and the citizens of this country are living through their nose both the poor and the rich. The transportation fare are skyrocketing, the price of food stuff are unbuyable and unbearable, promises are flying everywhere in the air, on the price of fuel dropping to a 100 naira per liter. What a perfect and sweet news to hear in this kind of hurdles and storming time in this country, but, the implementation is a constrain now, I know that sleeplessness, had being the portion of men at the top of affairs, because of constants meetings and reshuffling of ideas.
I want to say something about these following concerning;
1. FUEL SUBSIDY: in as much as the subsidy removal is for our benefit of the mass, the federal government should also know that the standard of living had drastically reduced, due to the increase in price of commodities and services. Something had to be done because the all thing boiling down to affect the common man. What we buy for 1 naira is now been sold for almost for 500 naira. It is horrible.
2. TRIBUNAL UNREST: When I heard about tribunal of the election conducted this year, I was like what is going on in this country, the truth is the election tribunal story maybe funny, but, it is a very very serious issue; if not carefully handle this case might begin to see mystical bees stinking the unexpectedly. If it is a matter of knocking the case out let it be done considerately and if it is a matter of compensations let it be done with constitutional and rule of law backing. Because what is foreseen might not be palatable with the evidence of the unrest in the south east and other part of the country; if good measure are not put in place to handle this dazzling controversy.
3. IRREGULATION OF PRICE OF COMMODITY: As the outcry is being protruded previously, another insignificant problem we see in this country is the irregularity of price of commodities. Some marketers and traders takes advantage of circumstances by enriching theirselves, because commodity are not regulated, people are force to buy commodities with excruciating pains and this is making the life of citizens miserable, especially the common man.
These are three most important area of human existence, which is very essential to look at, if the government should make the life of citizens better.
