Today I remember you and the moments we shared and you will always remain in my thoughts and will never be forgotten.
Today marks four years since the tragic loss of a dear friend in the air crash. It is hard to believe that so many years have gone by since I last read your articles that are filled with humour but with sharp punches
However, the memories we shared will never be forgotten.
Pius was a treasured friend who made me laugh and brought joy to my heart whenever I read his articles no matter the situation I am in.
You were such a unique and wonderful person who showed many the true power of writing and activism.
Today I remember you and the moments we shared and you will always remain in my thoughts and will never be forgotten.
Pius Adebola Adesanmi was a Nigerian-born Canadian, who held multiple titles as a professor, writer, literary critic, satirist, and columnist. His book, Naija No Dey Carry Last in 2015, is a compilation of satirical essays. Tragically, Adesanmi perished in the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 on March 10, 2019.
