Like Yahaya Bello did, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo is getting very right in assembling a crack team – from his media team to the latest appointee- Rt Hon Ahmed Mohammed as the Special Adviser on security for Ankpa Federal Constituency Axis – a classical axiom of a square peg in a square hole. This man came highly prized and qualified for this venture given his measured track records of governance dexterities.

With a stout background in security studies, Hon Ahmed Ahmed is fully loaded with tangible experiences in both physical and kinetic security strategies.

Gifted with a network of influence, rich business acumen and tested versatility, Ankpa Federal Constituency is aptly assured of a constricted and watertight security architecture.

Borno on August 14, 1978, in Kogi State, Ankpa Local Government Area. Ahmed Ahmed as fondly called is baked with a strong educational background, he holds a higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance from River State Polytechnic, Bori, and various certifications from reputable institutions- notably amongst them is the elite certification in Peace and Conflict Studies obtained in 2024 and a study in Counter terrorism and insurgency.

His impressive career spans multiple roles. He served as a two-term Honourable Member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, representing Ankpa 1 State Constituency from 2016 to 2023. During his tenure, he held key positions, including Deputy Speaker and Deputy Majority Leader.

Prior to his political career, he successfully led Ahmedis Concern Nigerian Limited as Chief Executive Officer since 2006. His expertise extends to mediation, conflict resolution, counter-terrorism, and project management.

A self-motivated and target-driven individual, he possesses excellent advocacy skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective communication. Outside work, he enjoys volunteering, community service, tennis, and traveling.
