There was joy and excitement in Jada
When many years ago you were born
And the joy has not ceased but extends
To every nook and cranny of the country
As your teeming admirers and supporters
Mark the day of your entry into the world

Yes, there is excitement and glee
In the hearts of your admirers numerous
Whom you have sacrificially gleaned
With your charitable acts out of penury

You are Atiku Abubakar
A politician with a difference
With courage and patriotic zeal
Who to the plight of the masses you are not indifferent
But fight and toil with uncommon zest
