As the November 8 Anambra governorship election approaches, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has expressed confidence that voters in Njikoka, Idemili South, and Nnewi North will deliver overwhelming support for his re-election bid.

Speaking during a series of campaign rallies in the three local government areas, Soludo described the movement for his second term as both “a divine project” and “a people-driven revolution.”

“Four years ago, you responded massively in our favour. We are confident that this time, your support will be even greater,” Soludo said at Abagana, headquarters of Njikoka LGA.

The governor praised his supporters for taking ownership of the campaign, noting that unlike other political parties, APGA’s rallies are largely self-funded and organized by the people.

“You people have taken over the campaign,” he said. “Our campaign didn’t require a formal flag-off. The energy across all three senatorial zones speaks for itself.”

Soludo said his team had reached markets, communities, and wards across the state, adding that the next phase of the campaign would focus on door-to-door engagement and voter mobilization.

“We have not won until you vote for us. We want to break the jinx and record a high voter turnout. I know we can do it,” he declared.

Idemili South: Grassroots Show of Support

At Ojoto, headquarters of Idemili South, residents and community leaders turned out in large numbers to reaffirm their support for APGA. They praised Soludo’s achievements in infrastructure, security, and youth empowerment.

“I appreciate the people for organizing this rally at their own expense. It is for the ordinary citizens that we stay awake every night, working to build a new society where Anambra’s children can thrive,” the governor stated.

He urged the electorate to vote massively on election day to sustain the progress achieved in the state.
