Anambra Election: INEC Confirms 95% of Results Uploaded to IReV Portal
INEC reports over 95% of Anambra governorship election results uploaded to the IReV portal, marking major progress in transparent result transmission across 21 LGAs.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that more than 95 percent of results from Saturday’s Anambra governorship election have been successfully uploaded to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
A review by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the IReV platform showed consistent progress in the electronic transmission of results from polling units across the 21 local government areas of the state.
According to data available on the portal, 5,472 out of 5,720 polling units have completed their uploads — a development observers say reflects significant improvement in INEC’s deployment of technology compared to previous polls.
INEC reaffirmed its commitment to credible, transparent, and verifiable elections, assuring that all uploaded results remain secure and accessible for public scrutiny throughout the process.
