Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned Nigerians against insulting or attacking political leaders, especially Peter Obi, saying such actions undermine national unity and do not serve the country’s interests.

In a statement issued through the Coalition of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku said personal attacks on opposition figures only deepen division and play into the hands of their political rivals.

“Anyone who insults Obi or Atiku do not mean well for the leaders, the Coalition ADC, or for Nigeria and Nigerians. The only beneficiaries of such civil discord are the APC urban bandits who seek to maintain the satanic status quo,” the statement read.
