Agriculture and farm produce

As a concern citizen of Bauchi state , I deem it fits to beg the governor senator bala abdulkadir Muhammad to speedily address the concrete inflation affecting the farm inputs in the state as raining is getting closer to refrain from shortage of food insecurity in the State

Bauchi state Is one of the top most in the list of agricultural production in Nigeria. It’s vast fertile soil is an added merit for the agricultural product which include maize ,millet, ground nut’s soybeans etc

However if nothing is done to lower prices this year could bring significant change’s and unwanted outcomes hence ordinary farmers cannot afford to buy More farm utilities to farm due to the inflation.

Agricultural Materials in the market especially fertilizer and herbicides with the present day market value in Bauchi state and bringing to core the differences

April last year npk was 25 thousand and this year its 37 thousand the same problem with Uriah which stands as 32,500 while this year is 38,000 like Wise Golden was 25 000 and its sold 42 000 today in Bauchi market . so the Prices are beyond ordinary farmers means.

So this time around if government didn’t help farmers by crashing the Price’s of agricultural inputs in the Wake of this season then we are in tough situation since there’s every likelihood that only few farmers can go back to farm as a result of constant challenges if not addressed now.
