Prophet Mohammed

He breathed his last. Bade the last supplication. Light faded in the room of Aa’ishah, the best of creation had left. Even with his position before Allah, he could not secure more seconds for himself. Death is inevitable, once it’s time, the truth will surely call.

Umar could not conceive the news, he begged for more clarity. It shouldn’t be his most beloved creation. How could the best of mankind exit while others were alive? Like every mother that loses a child or a husband whose wife demises, the world was soaked in sadness until Abubakar addressed the nation.

“And Muhammad is no more than an apostle; the apostles have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful.” Qur’an.

But before the death of the Prophet, peace be upon him, he left some words, strange and striking, everyone should keep to them because they are the way to Paradise. Among those words is what was narrated by Ummu Salamah who said the Prophet used to say in his illness in which he died:

“Prayer and those on whom you have power.” Ummu Salamah said that those were the Prophet last words before his voice could not be heard anymore.

Our five daily prayers; Subhi, Zuhru, Asru, Magrib and Isha’a are to be observed as the Messenger illustrated it. Also those under us should not feel oppressed or being cheated. While your prayer is the key to Jannah, don’t destroy it with maltreatment. Secure your hereafter from now.

In fact, what will lead many to hell is their manner. Act decent, address people with good accent and maintain being truthful. Do you know that people don’t really care about your belief at the first meeting? They care most on how you deal with them. If today you find your interpersonal relation so poor, make sure you upgrade with by reading the Prophet’s history.

May Allah accept our prayers, forgive our shortcomings, grant us happiness and crown our efforts with success. Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his companions and whoever follows his path till the last day. (Ameen).
