Big Brother Naija (BBNaija): Periscoping the future of Tsakute (Saskay) at Big Brother’s House -By Vahyala Adamu Tari

It is no longer news that Tsakute (Saskay), from Adamawa State, precisely from Michika Local Government made it to the 6th edition of the popular TV reality show otherwise known as BBnaija.

Having carefully studied the media atmosphere and causally conducted a content analysis regarding people’s views & feelings of the TV show with my variables surrounding; the housemates dressing codes, social activities, & relationships, I knew that, I highly conservative society where Saskay emerged my developed mix feelings in view of my variables for my causal study.

But importantly, is always good we have a defined philosophy & principles to guide our our thinking & reactions on what makes us happy, what upset us, what to watch, what not to watch and how best we respect individual rights & privacy. On this note, I argue that; if you demonized BBnaija & see evil in it to the extent it makes you off balance when you see dishy display of the opposite sex, I am afraid that that which you are running away from is lying low in your heart for long. The BBnaija only stir, bestir or provokes that which is in your heart. I advise the we only pray for missing souls on our streets-bandits, arm robbers, smokers, prostitutes including the open display of immoralities shown on many TV shows including the BBnaija & discipline our hearts on what we watch on television programs.

As I gave this TV show a thought, I realised that sociologists, psychologists, Newsmen, criminologists maybe interested in the show depending on what they be searching or researching for. We mustn’t demonized everything we see, watching them may give us clues on how to address the excesses that bedevils our streets today.

Now that #Sasakay is there, here are number of factors that would determined her longevity & success in the Big Brother’s House.a)How charming /charismatic she is.b)How how intelligent she is c) her level of creativity/ingenuity d) her moral behaviour e) how smart is she etc. It is on the basis of these, I want to charge Saskay to note that votes from her fans may not be enough. The new movement known as #sasforce may not be enough. Sasakay must must break, break a lot of “evils”,scale through many hurdles & clam mountains effortlessly!Those who made it in the past are not different from her-from humble background with uncommon smartness, uniqueness, & intelligence.

Dear Saskay,

1.You need to break the hard nut of regional barrier by attracting their interest/ sentiment in canvassing your votes across the nooks & crannies of the country.No local champion ever won that contest!
2.You must be exceptional in character. Remember you came from from a religious cum conservative community.
3.You must demonstrate uncommon courage & ingenuity is performing your task even at group level.
4.You must master the rules guiding the house & its facilities
5.In games, your opponent is your enemy!.Be careful!
6.Don’t be up all Sundays, your fans may loss interest with time.

I wish you take note of the head knowledge, understanding & wisdom as required to secure your future in the aesthetic Big Brother House.
