Buhari hails Amaechi, says change in transport sector an extraordinary legacy
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on media and publicity, Garba Shehu quoted Buhari as saying that the Dan Amanar Daura title on Amaechi is “a clear commitment to the harmonious relationship between the nation’s diverse cultures”.
President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi for his transformational efforts in the transport sector which has become the top legacy of his administration.
Buhari gave the commendation in a congratulatory message to Amaechi on the chieftaincy title, Dan Amanar Daura, to be conferred on him today by the Daura Emirate Council.

The president equally applauded Amaechi “for working with enormous energy to make the change we promised Nigerians a reality” .
The number-one citizen added that “The change we are witnessing in the transport sector is an extraordinary legacy.”
A business tycoon, Nasiru Haladu Danu, will be turbaned alongside Amaechi as the ‘Tafida Babba of Daura’.
Daura is the hometown of the president.
Sulaiman Adamu, minister of water resources; Hadi Sirika, minister of aviation; and Shehu, presidential spokesman are to represent the president at the epoch-making event.
