China surpass many nations in manufacturing in 2024

China’s competitiveness in the manufacturing sector was enhanced in 2024, CCTV News has reported.

According to the report, the national manufacturing quality competitiveness index increased to 85.6 this year, up from 85.21 last year.

This sustained upward trend indicates a steady enhancement in China’s manufacturing competitiveness in terms of quality.

The safety situation of food, medicine, key industrial products and special equipment was generally stable in 2024, the report said citing the national market supervision work conference on Monday.

The national manufacturing quality competitiveness index serves as a comprehensive indicator to measure and evaluate the quality level, overall quality and development capabilities of the manufacturing industry.

These advancements not only reflect an improved quality landscape but also underscore the nation’s commitment to ensuring product safety and enhancing overall competitiveness in the global market.
