Some of the Prophets in the Old Testament knew kings from neighboring countries. Some also, could have gotten access at distant latitudes, if they needed to.

Some were known of, or also read about.

It was normal for Prophets to reach out to authorities, not necessarily in loyalty, but to convey messages or be approachable.

But as Christ was on earth, with the crowds, fame, miracles, it is unlikely they didn’t hear about Him in Rome, by the Emperor – Tiberius, or at least members of the Senate.

JESUS always told people not to tell He’s the Christ.

At some point, Herod wondered about Him.

The miracles, wisdom, and unknowns were so powerful that – in the seeking to expand the Roman Empire – the infinite valuableness of Christ would be so useful.

That would have been normal for others, but JESUS Christ was not a prophet.

Prophets Elijah and Elisha, assuming they lived under Roman occupation, would have been favorites to Emperors – in the times of war, or for anything else.

But Christ, the Savior, came for His purpose all things worked together for Him.

Christ kept saying for the Scriptures to be fulfilled, in some of His doings and sayings, showing that even if not understood or evidence found, the Word of GOD will come to pass, all.

There was a situation, [it is possible to interpret it this way] Christ said something: a disciple replied that people are here, You’re saying this, Christ replied that I know what I’m saying.

Doubt – briefly – caught a greatest born, John the Baptist, who while in prison, asked if He’s the Christ. He probably, at some point felt that a miracle, from JESUS, should deliver him, so he wondered.

In response, it can be interpreted that Christ said that I healed so many, but your case is different.
