Comedian Julius Agwu Announces Mother’s Death, Shares Emotional Tribute
Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu mourns the death of his beloved mother, “Mama Gee,” sharing a heartfelt message and an emotional throwback video of them together.
Popular comedian and actor Julius Agwu, also known as Julius d’Genius, has announced the passing of his mother, fondly called “Mama Gee.”
The entertainer shared the sad news in a post on X (formerly Twitter), writing:
“My dearest mother has gone to be with the Lord. Mama Gee, you will be dearly missed. Rest in peace.”
Alongside the message, Agwu posted an old video showing a touching moment when he surprised his mother on her farm. Startled at first, she turned around with a cassava stem in hand, ready to defend herself. Upon realizing it was her son, her face broke into a smile as she embraced him, laughing and dancing joyfully.
