Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, the billionaire kidnapper who was convicted, and Joseph Emeka, his co-defendant, who was accused of attempted kidnapping and murder, have agreed to a plea deal.

When the case was brought for re-arraignment on Thursday, the state’s lead attorney, Mr. Yusuf Sule, reportedly told the court about the plea bargain alternative, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

A re-arraignment in front of Justice Adenike Cokers of the Ikeja High Court was requested for this matter.
