“David Cares About My Dreams” – Chioma Praises Davido’s Support in Rare Interview

Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly praised her husband for his consistent support of her personal aspirations.

In a recent interview with Noire TV—now trending on social media—Chioma, widely known as Chef Chi, opened up about Davido’s role in encouraging her to pursue her goals, even amid life’s challenges.

“David cares a lot about my dreams,” she said. “I’ve faced a lot of challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you actually want to do?’ Then we would have plans and have stuff coming out in the next few months. He really cares about my personal dreams.”

The couple, who held their traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos in June 2024 following a private court wedding in March 2023, are currently preparing for their white wedding in Miami, United States. Davido previously revealed that over $3.7 million has already been spent on the upcoming lavish celebration.

Chioma and Davido, who began their relationship during their university years, share three children together, including twins born in October 2023. Their journey together has been marked by both public attention and private pain, including the tragic loss of their first child, Ifeanyi, in 2022.

Despite the pressures of fame and personal grief, Chioma’s recent remarks shed light on the strength of their bond and Davido’s dedication to her personal growth.
