Nigerian comedian Aderombi Adedayo Martin, widely known as Deeone, has unveiled plans to attempt breaking the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest stand-up comedy performance.

Famous for his sharp wit and engaging stage charisma, the former reality TV star announced the ambitious challenge across his social media platforms, sparking excitement among fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.

The marathon performance is scheduled to last 40 hours, running from October 2 to 4, 2025, at Pallazo Lagos, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

Deeone’s bold announcement has been met with an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities. Comedian Josh2funny hailed him as “my favorite comedian,” singer Teddy A (@iamteddyA) urged him on with a “Let’s go!”, while actress Tonto Dikeh expressed her encouragement, saying: “Deeone, you can do this!
