A popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju, has warned those wishing Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu dead that they “may end up dying before him.”

Following Bola Tinubu’s return to Nigeria on Monday, Adeyanju chided the opposition for thinking that Tinubu was out of the country over his alleged health condition.

Adeyanju wrote: “President-elect Tinubu is back to Nigeria. How far now with all those wishing him dead in the name of opposition? Learn from the folly of the last 8 yrs against Buhari and begin to prepare for 2027.

“Those wishing Tinubu dead may end up dying before him. Life is so full of surprises and humility. Buhari who is about to complete his 2nd term is a perfect example why we shouldn’t take politics to the extreme. It’s just politics and nothing more. It’s about ideology and not hate.”
