The Nigerian Naira posted slight signs of stability against the US Dollar in early trading on Friday, November 28, 2025, as the foreign exchange market adjusted to recent liquidity movements.

Official Market (NAFEM) Update

Latest figures from the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) show the Naira trading around N1,444.38 per dollar, marking a modest shift from earlier in the week when the rate hovered near N1,450.

According to market data, the Naira has also recovered from its weekly peak of N1,472.26, recorded on Monday, November 24, indicating a mild consolidation toward the end of the week.

Parallel Market Trends

In the parallel (black) market, the dollar is exchanging for an average of N1,457.11, continuing the trend of narrow spreads between street rates and official window prices.
The sustained convergence is attributed to ongoing liquidity control and market management strategies at the official level.
