Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General is dead
According to the son, “Our Patrich Engr Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu, Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo, passed away,” according to the Iwuanyanwu family of Umuohii Atta in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state.
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has passed away.
His son Jide Iwuanyanwu revealed the death in a message to Owerri-based journalists.
According to the son, “Our Patrich Engr Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu, Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo, passed away,” according to the Iwuanyanwu family of Umuohii Atta in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state.
“Chief Iwuanyanwu died on Thursday July 25, 2024 after a brief illness. He was aged aged 82. Chief Iwuanyanwu before his death was president General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide and President of Owerri Peoples Assembly.”
“Chief Iwuanyanwu is survived by his wife lady Princess Iwuanyanwu many children and grandchildren including Dr Mrs Nwadiuto Iheakanwa managing Director Champion Newspapers details of the burial will be announced later by the family after due consultation,’he said.
