#EndBadGovernance: President Tinubu meet security Chiefs in closed-door meeting amid protests

Recall that President Tinubu on Sunday in a national broadcast had pleaded with the organizers of the nationwide protests to suspend especially as it has gone violent in some states with the attendant loss of lives and destruction of property.

Tinubu and the Service Chiefs

President Bola Tinubu is currently holding private meetings with paramilitary and security chiefs under the auspices of the National Security Council.

The President’s office, Presidential Villa, Abuja, is the location of the meeting.

The service chiefs and other military and paramilitary leaders are being led to the meeting by General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS).

It coincides with the countrywide demonstrations against starvation and incompetent leadership.

Recall that President Tinubu on Sunday in a national broadcast had pleaded with the organizers of the nationwide protests to suspend especially as it has gone violent in some states with the attendant loss of lives and destruction of property.

The President, who said that he has heard the grievances of the protesters loud and clear, also warned that he would not sit and watch some people used by opposition politicians to destroy the democracy in the country.

Also at the meeting are Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun among others
