ENTERTAINMENT: ‘Got enough music to retire’, Wizkid reckons as singer marks 33rd birthday

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid has reckoned that he has more than enough music to retire.

The singer, who clocked 33 on Sunday, July 16, 2023, said this in an interview with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte.

The interviewer had said the last time they met, the Starboy honcho told him that he “got enough music to retire.”

Wizkid reckoned: “Come on, my brother. And we are still recording music everyday [laughs]. So, imagine how much music I have now.”

The ‘Essence’ crooner also hinted at his sixth studio album being on the way.

He said, “I got a new album ready, bro. New Wiz’s album. I’m dropping a new song next week. In a couple of days, mehn.”
