Ex-President Bubari’s aide defeated at primary poll

The member representing the Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu Federal Constituency Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has defeated past immediate special assistant on social media to President Buhari’s Bashir Ahmad.

The result was announced by the returning officer of the election Hon Faizu Alfindiki said incumbent serving federal lawmaker had secured 109 votes in the poll to trounce Bashir Ahmad who got 16 votes after the party’s delegates casted their votes at the Gaya local government Islamic centre Friday.

In his responds after result announced, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya assure peoples of the constituents that he going to continue working to make sure that constituency concerns are heard and addressed and deeply humbled by unflinching confidence and support repose in him by APC delegates during party’s primaries from Albasu, Gaya & Ajingi Federal Constituency, saying with unflinching commitments of all the narrations of once neglected constituency has been change to much better going with apparent development across all the nook and cronies of the three local government areas.

He added that there is so much more to do to make the Constituency great, with uncommon goals of more dividend of democracy will come as we stand for the common goal we have come so far. We are expecting so much.
