Governor Sanwo-Olu condoles with family of Pastor Odukoya

The Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya,’s demise was confirmed via a post on the official Facebook page of the church.

The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has sent his condolences to the family of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

Reacting to the news of Pastor Odukoya’s death, Sanwo-Olu, in a post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday, said, “It was with utter shock and sadness that I received the news of the passing of Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, the founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church.

“Pastor Odukoya was a dear brother and friend. He was a dedicated man of God whose faith and belief in God never shook or waned despite experiencing the obstacles of life.

“He was steadfast in worship and diligent in service. He was a great preacher and teacher, whose life and ministry have continued to impact the lives of people within the Christian body and outside.

“Pastor Odukoya’s demise is indeed a heart wrenching reminder that this life is indeed fleeting.

“My sincere condolences to his dear children, Tolu Ijogun, Jimmy Odukoya, Tobi Enuha, Jomiloju and Timilehin Odukoya, and the entire Odukoya family.

“I also commiserate with Pastor Odukoya’s friends, associates, the congregation of The Fountain of Life Church, the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and the entire Christian body.

“May his soul find rest with God, and may the good Lord comfort his friends, family, and all members of his church. Amen.”

The Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya,’s demise was confirmed via a post on the official Facebook page of the church.

The church disclosed that the cleric died on Monday, August 7, in the United States of America.
