How I Cheated A Friend Of Mine Without Him Ever Suspecting Me -By Joe Dauda
If only he knew that, for feeling sorry for him and giving him that little amount, God retaliated within an hour with ten times the amount, he probably would have demanded that I cut him his own share.

One day, I received a call from a senior friend of mine. Let’s call him Babatunde. Mr Babatunde used to flow in money but was suffering a downturn in his business. We had a mutually respectful relationship and were very good friends.
When I received his call, I began to realize how I had cheated him. But he had no idea; so he kept praying for me during the phone conversation. He prayed all sorts of prayer. I won’t tell you the church he attended but he prayed and prayed until I almost couldn’t endure the feeling of guilt.
Why was I feeling guilty?
This is where it gets interesting.
About two hours before his call to express gratitude and pray for me, bless me, and wish me the very best of blessings humanly possible, he had urgently asked me for help. Rendering that help was not convenient for me and I almost said no. Perhaps I said no without saying no because I ended the call without any commitment. But, after the call, I began to reason within myself. Mr Babatunde had been calling me over this request for almost 2 weeks and the amount he was requesting kept reducing. Like I said, it wasn’t convenient for me to give him anything. But I became consumed by a feeling of pity. I told myself that what I was trusting God to give me was much more than what I had in my bank account. Why not give him a little out of it and trust God to meet me in my own moment of need? I complied with this logic and sent him the money.
Believe it or not, less than an hour later, I got ten times what I had given Mr Babatunde.
Now you know why I was feeling guilty when he was praying for me.
If only he knew that, for feeling sorry for him and giving him that little amount, God retaliated within an hour with ten times the amount, he probably would have demanded that I cut him his own share.
Please don’t tell my friend what I just told you so he wouldn’t begin to harass me! 😀
God wants us to be wise in everything we do and we need to be wise in giving because, trust people, some will attempt to take advantage of you. But whenever you are led to give, do so freely, expecting nothing in return, and you will understand that God is so good He rewards you for being good to His other children on earth.
It is this pure goodness in the heart of God that led Him to send His only begotten Son into the world to die for our sins so that, although we have sinned, we will still be able to enjoy eternal life.
Don’t miss out on this. It is free! But, believe me, with the clear signs of the end times all around us these days, this offer is soon to expire.
So hurry up!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
