I Support President Donald Trump -By J. Ezike

President Donald Trump may not have gotten it right with his immigration policies that sought to harm guiltless, illegal immigrants but I support in totality the mockery of Nigeria’s irresponsibility and the rejection of homosexuality operating under the canopy of diversity and inclusion.

Most Nigerians seemed burned with President Donald Trump’s executive order to halt the support for HIV treatment in Nigeria and other developing countries. And some “thinkers” believe he had been wrong to do it. It gives them grief about the change in the policies that puts America first. Some also say it’s a racist attack from a president that has isolated America with policies that seek to stand in opposition with the status-quo.

Part of the radical pose President Donald Trump exudes is to discontinue with previous American policies that gives credence to diversity and inclusion which plays a role in the institutionalization of homosexualism. Whether we’ve realized it or not, there appears to be a struggle that demand we choose sides between mediocrity and excellence, between good and evil, between right and wrong…

Trump

Nigeria has always been a country that has abused it’s privileges with the profits and benefits of corruption. And I choose not to lean towards the sentiments of those who “think” President Donald Trump was wrong to have terminated the subsidy of HIV medications.

The reason is that Nigeria with all its abundant resources has never been a poor country. Like most countries in Africa, it’s bad leadership has hardened the fate of the citizens. And through our eyes, we’ve witnessed the preposterous waste of public funds, the looting and mismanagement of our resources. Our institutions have been shattered and our national treasury stolen by a coterie of individuals in power.

We’ve witnessed the downward trajectory of our economy for many decades. Power has continued to shift from one crook to another crook. And foreign aids are apparently another avenue for wealth accumulation. The leadership in Nigeria is a scam that has never stopped to shock the world.

Nigeria needs to look at itself in the mirror before passing judgement. For many decades, we’ve expected developed countries to clean up the mess of our leaders who have never been willing to cede their immoral values. Certainly, greed has not dissolved from their character but has only been accompanied by wickedness.

Nigeria’s identity begins with the fact of its corruption. And now wants to have a claim on how America should be managed. With Nigeria’s inflation and total destruction of its economy, our leaders are still enjoying ridiculous wealth while the citizens suffer in poverty. The extravagance, the evil, the tragedy and the wickedness, all of it have overwhelmed our senses about the leadership of Nigeria.

The irony is that Nigeria is a country that claims to know, love and fear God but there is no constraints on choices of lifestyles, immorality of values and the abuse of human lives.

President Donald Trump may not have gotten it right with his immigration policies that sought to harm guiltless, illegal immigrants but I support in totality the mockery of Nigeria’s irresponsibility and the rejection of homosexuality operating under the canopy of diversity and inclusion.

We may spend eternity scolding President Donald Trump for halting the support for HIV treatment in Nigeria, but we can never diminish the evil of Nigerian leaders who are the perfect depiction of Conrad’s dark savages in Heart Of Darkness.
