JIGAWA State Governor Muhammed Badaru Abubakar has hailed the former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), on his 80th birthday.
In a statement on Monday by the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the governor, Mr. Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro, the governor described IBB “as a symbol of unity and beacon of nationalism, who worked for the unity and development of Nigeria.
According to the statement General Babangida represents an embodiment of experience, wisdom and legendary leadership with impeachable records of service to God and Country will continue to serve as a reference point for countless generations.
