In 2023, the church and the mosque will fail -By Abdullahi O. Haruna

Anyone that thinks religion is the tool for his political emancipation will fail woefully be it Tinubu or Peter Obi. This country was built on the ideology of oneness and not on scriptural verses from borrowed religion. Islam and Christianity came to prepare us for eternal salvation and not to dictate our earthly political aspirations.

It’s obvious I say things that interest a lot of audiences; anything I pen gets different reactions from different recipients- some highly vexed others overtly excited. I have been called names in superlative references and been labelled in worst adjectives interchangeably by these audiences.😀

It goes to show that human beings are damn difficult to please; a lady poured beautiful encomiums on me when I wrote on the insensitive Muslim Muslim ticket of the APC and was in my inbox cursing me for advising Peter Obi to expand his voting strength beyond the church -IF he wins, governance may become difficult because they would be palpable mistrust like Buhari is facing. Instead of appreciating me for giving a winning advice, she and other highly emotive co-travellers came hard on me.
