Insecurity as a major factor affecting development in Niger state -By Haruna Musa Umar

The rate of killing, harassment, intimidation… by the so called thugs and bandits  in Niger  state is so alarming. 

 Minna City is under siege by thugs,  No week passes away without hearing “thugs committing one despicable act or the other”. Yet our citizens are quiet/silent about it.  

Let’s not only be interested in politics alone. The security challenges of the state should also be our concerns. 

Don’t wait until it affects you directly…

Who knows tomorrow…?

Every soul is relevant in the society.

Much work is needed to ensure greater equity and progress of human security in the state.

I am appealing to NPF in the state to carry out their duties and stop the innocent raiding and killing of our citizens. 

The State Government should please take major action on the incessant act.
