Inter Milan Thrash Cremonese 4-1 to Join Serie A Leaders
Inter Milan crushed Cremonese 4-1 at San Siro with Ange-Yoan Bonny scoring and assisting three times. Goals from Martinez, Dimarco, and Barella lifted Inter to the top of Serie A alongside AC Milan, Napoli, and Roma.
Inter Milan stormed to the top of Serie A on Saturday after a dominant 4-1 win over Cremonese at the San Siro, powered by a dazzling performance from Ange-Yoan Bonny.
Goals from Lautaro Martinez, Bonny, Federico Dimarco, and Nicolo Barella sealed Inter’s victory, taking them to 12 points alongside AC Milan, Napoli, and Roma, who play on Sunday.
Despite missing injured striker Marcus Thuram, Inter showed no signs of slowing down as Bonny delivered a goal and three assists in his first start since arriving from Parma.
“It was great to win, we’re very consistent at the moment and if I can help the team, then that’s great too,” said Bonny, praising coach Cristian Chivu for his confidence in him.
Chivu lauded his side’s aggressive yet organized play, highlighting Bonny’s impact and the squad’s strength in depth. The win marked Inter’s fifth straight victory in all competitions, extending their perfect start to the Champions League as well.
Cremonese, who stunned Milan earlier in the season, were no match this time, with Federico Bonazzoli’s late strike their only consolation in an otherwise one-sided contest.
Elsewhere, Atalanta were held 1-1 by Como, while Lazio salvaged a dramatic 3-3 draw with Torino thanks to Danilo Cataldi’s stoppage-time penalty.
