Israeli soldiers continue to assault the Gaza Strip while gathering troops on the border
A ground offensive would be launched on Gaza “when opportune and fit for our purposes,” IDF spokesman Jonathan Conricus said in a daily briefing broadcast on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In response to coordinated attacks by the Islamist group Hamas, Israel’s military has continued to bombard the Gaza Strip.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Telegram on Thursday that a large-scale strike against Hamas-affiliated locations in Gaza was started.
On Saturday, Israel was taken aback by a large-scale offensive by Hamas terrorists from the Gaza Strip, and it replied with huge airstrikes on the region.
More than 1,000 have died on each side, with civilians being the majority of those killed.
Israel has massed some 300,000 reserve troops and armoured vehicles on the border with the Gaza Strip.
