Junior Pope for Burial Today

Junior Pope was credited with unique acting prowess and was also characterized as “one of the most talented actors in Nigeria” in a tribute. The tribute was written by Isaiah Ogedegbe in honour of the late Junior Pope.

The remains of award winning Nigerian actor and film producer, Junior Pope, who took his last breath on April 10, 2024 after being involved in a river accident during a movie location journey, will be laid to rest at his hometown in Ukehe in the Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State immediately after the burial mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Ukehe, Enugu State today Friday, May 17, 2024. The final thanksgiving mass will once again be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Junior Pope, who unfortunately died by drowning last month, came into existence on May 7, 1981. He, however, left this world on April 10, 2024.

Note that the Actors Guild of Nigeria banned unauthorized pictures and video recordings during the burial ceremony.
