JUST IN: Five die in Cross River auto crash
The Public Relations Officer of the state Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ajuka Mark confirmed the crash and the casualties.
A truck fully loaded with cement with registration number FST 135 XW crashed into a Toyota Picnic van and killed some of the occupants of the van.
It was gathered that the accident which claimed five lives occurred on Tuesday at Ibiae in Biase LGA of Cross River State.
The driver and passengers were said to come from Ekori in Yakurr where the bus loaded.
The cause of the accident could not be immediately ascertained.

He said, “investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of the accident.”
