Popular Nigerian artist Davido’s bodyguard, Segxy, has responded to recent claims that he was beaten at his employer’s wedding.

There was a lot of conjecture that Davido had hit his bodyguard after an online video clip from the occasion seemed to show the singer warning Segxy.

Segxy responded by dismissing the video as deceptive on his Instagram story.

He made it clear that Davido had never physically attacked any of his employees and had not even slapped him.

Segxy claims that the footage shows Davido telling him to give permission to a boy that he had been attempting to keep away from the musician.

On his Instagram account, Segxy stated: “As regards the fake video flying on the internet, y’all commenting sh*t you don’t know… My boss didn’t slap me and has never slapped any of his staff before. He was only cautioning me to allow the boy. The boy in question appeared from nowhere beside us, and I tried to stop him.”

Segxy further emphasized the strong bond he shares with Davido, describing him as family.
