As one of senators that his star is shining he will be unifier and unifying the to speak with one voice.
It is not a simple to represent a senatorial district that spent over 16years in poor representation , May Kawu Sumaila the best for you. The good people of Kano south senatorial district have elected Senator Kawu Sumaila with good intentions , All They have known him as hardworking lawmaker during his representing Takai/Sumaila federal constituency for 12years , when his projects have touched lives of less privileged , that is what has drawn attention of concerned citizens in the whole region and have supported him as senator.
After losing primary election in questionable election he couldn’t represent them the senatorial , he has still interest at Kano south people at heart , that is the reason why after losing the ticket he continues speak with voices , however he has been criticizing of poor representation of the serving senator for long time , this has given him big opportunity of demarketing the senator and shed more light on his blueprint on what he will do If he elected at position. On 2022 , he joined National Nigerian People Party and got senatorial ticket , he won the seat as senator-elect that will be represented good people Kano south from 13th june 2023.
I heard his interview on radio on week after he won election , he said that he would be founded Kano South Council forum: this forum will be discussed on the regional problems and finding solution among the leaders , The members are local governme chairmen , federal and state lawmakers of Kano south , Senator Kawu will be the chairman of the forum , he reassured that the council be joined hand with state to reopen schools that previous government has been closed for long time , That will be very good news to all people of Kano south.
