Kogi Guber: APC Group Endorses Edward Onoja

Ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial primary of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, a frontline support group of the party, APC Kogi East Network (KEN) has endorsed the Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Edward David Onoja (CEDO) for the governorship primary of the party in the state.

In a statement released to newsmen in Anyigba on Monday by the (APC Organizing Secretary, North Central) and Patron of the group, Hon. Ahmedi Attah, the group said it arrived at the choice of Chief Edward Onoja because of his proven track records in office as well as his administrative dexterity and youths empowerment programmes across the state.

Noting that Edward is the only person among the pool of aspirants who has capacity to take our dear state to it’s destination.

As former Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello and current Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Onoja is the only man with the magic wand to sustain the ‘new direction policy’ of the state.

The group urged Governor Bello not to throw his weight behind any ‘political outsider’ who has not been thoroughly mentored on the ethos of good governance and the ‘New Direction’ policy thrust of our government.

While assuring CEDO of landslide victory in the upcoming party primary, the group offered to purchase the ‘Nomination and Expression of Interest’ forms for him if he wouldn’t mind.
