Adidas have launched a new set of kits for various national teams ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year, and Argentina’s has certainly left an impression as Lionel Messi unveiled the jersey.

Adidas have unveiled their new designs for the highly-anticipated tournament in Qatar which gets underway on November 20. That includes exciting new strips for the likes of Germany, Mexico, Belgium and Spain ahead of the competition.

But it was arguably Argentina’s that was the most eye-catching, sporting a violet colourway, a V-neck and what appeared to be flame-like graphics on the lower portion, as modelled by the legendary Messi himself. And fans were mostly left in agreement that the German manufacturers did a stellar job.

One fan tweeted: “FINALLY AN AWAY KIT THAT IS NOT BLACK! Argentina losing to Germany in a black kit in the WC has become a habitual fact now.”

Another Twitter user wrote: “That Argentina one looking too good.”
