Of course, Minister Pantami have to be criticized, but with utmost decorum and respect. As a public office holder who is heading one the most sensitive ministry in the country.

To some some with shallow thinking faculty, the fact that Malam Pantami is the minister heading communication ministry is enough to shield the affairs of the ministry to be criticize and analyzed fairly at whatever cost.

It’s but a wrong assumption, anyone within the circle of any government has never been immune to criticism unless someone is performing incredibly sensational. Because criticism is what often makes people beautify their products. So it has no difference in governance.

Nigerians have any right to checkmate the activities of Minister Pantami for being of the key regulating one of the most sensitive part of their lives. To head such a sensitive sector requires remarkable effort of which I can’t take this from him. He is trying.

But when it comes to Sim-NIN linkage minister Pantami has failed ( Apologies ). For the simple reason that idea is yet to pay it dues. Tracing and tracking criminals through using the idea are the primary duties of Pantamin Sim-NIN linkage initiative, anything short of that is a total failure.

And unfortunately the rate of crimes and other atrocities are increasing day by day as if nothing was made to tackle it. Still, failure to act as it expected is enough to signalize that all efforts are being proved to be futile and fruitless. And therefore it has to attract criticism.

So why all the political grandstanding and politicization of the war against criminals beneath the banner of cyber security agency from the side of govt and why the game of name calling against those questioning the efficiency of Minister’s initiative from his diehard fans?

However, let’s be sincere once and for all, we can agree that Pantami as a Minister have excellently performed at some areas and thus he failed at this course. Simple, no hard feelings. And to ask him to put more effort in accomplishing such remarkable national assignment is nothing but a sheer patriotism.

Thus for we believe, through that avenue millions of lives could be saved against the shenanigans of agents of dooms and blood sucking beast called bandits and Bokoharamist.
